Abstract:
Our Project is basically to use a generator that produces electricity that runs on hydrogen extracted from urine. To do this we will proceed by extracting nitrogen and hydrogen gas from urine. Later on comes the process of transforming the hydrogen we get into electricity. The electrolytic cell separates urine into nitrogen, water and hydrogen. The electrode we use is to aluminum sheets and a car battery to start the reaction. The hydrogen is then purifies and transformed into a liquid (condensation), and that is what powers the internal combustion engine in the generator that produces electricity. Throughout the mechanism there are one-way valves for safety due to hydrogens flammability with oxygen. By that we’ll not only be saving money, but also help reduce pollution, recycle waste in a way that can be reused.
