Abstract:
Housing policy in Nigeria is highly elitist in both concept and design. The conservative nature of our architects does not help at all, as they do not give serious attention to provision of adequate room sizes in their designs especially in building for the less privileged.
This project envisages alleviating the problem of room-space management in our houses, homes etc by evolving a designed product that could perform up to nine different functions using the principle of convertibility and provision of attachments. This combined-function design is cost effective, easy to produce and has a large market to attract investors.
