Abstract:
Green Belt is a low-cost belt that has been designed to enforce the use of seatbelt by all drivers. They won’t be able to drive, or even start their vehicle without plugging in green belt. In many accidents, drivers, including passengers, can’t get themselves out of their seats because normally belts don’t open. Although airbags are life savers, but still people get suffocated after these are deployed as they fail to unlock seat belt and vacate the car. So, the heater timer circuit has been introduced which will unlock the seatbelt automatically to save lives after air bags deployment. It will allow drivers and the passengers to get out of their seats with minimum injuries during serious accidents. On the other hand, if accidents occur and lead the car to fall underwater, a sensor attached inside the car will detect the level of water rising. It will bring the life vest in front of driver’s seat to save his/her life. “Green Belt” system is a multifunctional project which uses simple electromechanical components and sensors. It is currently not available in any car in the world. It will benefit the community by obligating passengers to wear their green belts to decrease the risk of causalities during accidents to save lives.
