Abstract:
The objective of the “Robot Arm Complement” project is to improve the production in manipulation of light objects process, reducing the time in manufacturing processes. The robot arm can manipulate light pieces with diferent forms. Its gripper handles objects with adecuate adherence. We use gearmotors to move the robot articulations, providing it with better movements to its parts. This robot arm prototype can be controlled in two ways: automatic mode, using programmable microcontrollers for specific and repetitive tasks; and manual mode using a switch style control.
