Abstract:
'Throw the Ring' is a smart-phone application running on Androids (Google play store ). This physical puzzle game has many stages. And each stage consists of 'Bubbles' and 'Rings.' As you move to higher stages, functions and colors of those two change. Click onto the 'Ring' and drag it towards the direction you aim for. Then the 'Ring' is thrown to pop as many 'Bubbles' as possible. The 'Ring' bounces off to the opposite angle when it hits the wall. Therefore, you need to have an acute sense in controlling the speed and the angle to pop 'Bubbles.' Also, there are additional features to make the game more challenging and interesting. There are both obstacles and benefits provided in each stage, such as 'Black Holes', 'Magnet', 'Laser', 'Gravity' and etc. You can see the trajectory of force with your eyes. Through these various features, people can be more friendly with science, and the game can help nurture people’s curiosity towards science. If you are tired of tedious time-consuming games, why not try 'Pop the Bubble?' Because this game requires you to have creative thinking, exact sense in timing, and the delicate hand movements. I hope to deliver refreshing excitement to smart-phone users by this original physical puzzle game. This game will help people improve their creative thinking, which is the basis of science.
