Abstract:
The purpose of this project is to depict and analyze an accurate representation of the direct effects of food on an ant colony's egg count and population size. This come from the need and responsibility ants play in their environment. By establishing these parameters and experiment, the correlation of food shortages may be directly measure in a controlled environment. Through this, the data may be observed and aid in further research into the effects of food on an ant colony's environment. Along with this, the experiment replicates food shortages and other ailments that may in turn lead to negative effects on an ecosystem.
