Abstract:
The firsts photography's researchers : a reference for today's researchers. The purpose of my Research Project was to get closer to the first researches on photography and how everything started with the aim of building my own camera starting from zero without any sketch or design done by someone else that could have helped me in order to do my accordion camera. To proceed with my project I started looking for information on the Internet but also trying to talk with people, most of them photographers, so they advised me in some details and while I had to reveal the photographs taken with my camera. All the materials used are really simple, the ones that everybody could find in a shop, and trying to use the more similar ones they used on the first camera built. Once the camera was finished, I took many photographs on different environments and light in order to evaluate how good the camera was. My conclusion after my research and work is that I had been able to build an accordion camera, dealing with every problem I had and to take amazing high-resolution photographs. It is fascinating how a camera designed in such a primary way can take pictures as good as the ones taken with the best digital cameras.
