Abstract:
For many years, deforestation has been an environmental disaster that continues to grow. It is the cause of numerous animal and species extinction, reduction in oxygen levels in the atmosphere and erosion that is a serious matter for agriculture. Deforestation is caused by humans cutting down trees for industrial purpose like making planks, cardboards or hydrocarbon like charcoal that are useful in our everyday lives ,to the detriment of the environment. This is where “Mighty Wood” comes in. “Mighty Wood” aims to transform the non-recycled cardboards, that we use everyday either in packaging, or in the form of box boards into planks that can be used in construction or in furniture manufacture. Our planks will be a substitute for wood-based planks that is stronger and more sustainable. Our Project will thus reduce either deforestation and the natural resources consumption for the manufacture by fabricating planks made from cardboards waste.
