Abstract:
The world suffers from a great shortage of water sources suitable for domestic consumption, and the water problem in Palestine is one of the most important challenges facing the community, and accordingly this project works to recycle the cold water that arrives from the water tap connected to the solar heater installed on the roof of the building so that no exit is allowed Cold water from the tap flows only when it reaches the desired temperature and which is programmed for this purpose. The results of this project indicated that its implementation will contribute to reducing water wastage by providing approximately (1800000) Cubic Meters of water annually, and this amount constitutes (58%) of the annual water deficit in Nablus Governorate, and (17%) of the annual water available. It also saves 10 million shekels annually for waste water, and 2 million shekels annually instead of wastewater treatment. As for the single-family level, it is expected that the cost of the extensions associated with the project will be recovered in less than three years, which means that the economic feasibility of the project may be achieved in less than three years
