Abstract:
According to an UN survey on the environment, one million animal and plant species are threatened with extinction in the coming years due to the degradation of their natural habitat. In addition, the production and consumption of goods and services have contributed to air, water, and soil pollution, which has profound consequences for human health and biodiversity. We have realized that awareness campaigns for environmental protection are not useless but limited in scope and most people see and are aware of what needs to be done to protect the planet but do not act on it. In response to worldwide environmental challenges, we developed an innovative and interactive application for a more sustainable future called “ECOHUB”. This application allows users to discover, propose and participate in environmental initiatives to promote a more sustainable way of living. In the capitalist world where we live, our interests often drive us to act. Therefore, ECOHUB aims to encourage people to take action to help protect the planet and the millions of species that share it with us by using their electronic devices to campaign and act for a sustainable future while earning money.
