Abstract:
RApp Chemistry is a mobile app that works with augmented reality, describes the periodic table of elements. The main objective of RApp Chemistry is that the student learn the periodical table and all its characteristics. In order to strength the scientific vocations with technology by a constructive approach. The application displays the Atomic model in third dimension. it is a visual tool and interactive draws the attention of the student, facilitates teaching subjects such as models, symbol, atomic mass, atomic structure, configuration, electronics and number of electrons per energy level of the elements of the periodic table. The project started when we saw an augmented reality game and at the same time we needed to create a programming project in a subject of school resulting in RApp chemistry. The elements used in the development of the application were Unity, Vuforia and a graphical editor for the creation of bookmarks. RApp Chemistry allows the teacher to perform teaching strategies based on technological tools, allowing the process of teaching and learning to be more meaningful since the student build their own knowledge according to their previous experience, technology and context in which it is located.
