Abstract:
The present project searched to verify if it was possible to utilize virtual reality technology to benefit students and teachers of elementary school, on behalf of learning and new educational experiences. From a bibliographical research and the collection of data, a class was applied to five different schools of the public network to grade five students with mobile devices, some adaptations and also in association with an app that simulated the real solar system environment. With that, the technology was used and afterwards, in conjunction with it a test with multiple choice was applied to the students. The students’ perception of the technology helped them to a better understanding of regular subjects, with a great attention spam benefit from the technology. Giving all the facts and experiences that were applied, it is now clear that this project can truly benefit the educational system, also on behalf of the results that were seen, in which all the classes that participated scored more than 80% of the questions, reaching an average of 89,2%, whilst the ones that did not used the technology reached an average of 65,6%.
