Abstract:
The "TINTAMIX", named by participants as being an ink developed in Puebla Mixteca, project involves the study and development of natural dyes, using the resources available to our Mixteca. The creation of this project is given from the idea of rescuing from oblivion and extinction some native plants in the region and use a pigment ink that contains no coal as the main ingredient, since many studies indicate that they pollute the ground to be released as waste directly or impregnated in any type of material, and may even be harmful to health. The ingredients for "TINTAMIX" are extracted from different parts of plants that exist in the community and surrounding areas. They are also known to those plants as are used as wood and even as medicines; therefore not considered toxic. Besides common inks, another problem is the packaging containing them, which are discarded and are part of the polluting waste ground, increasing their risk from residues of ink remaining in each of the containers. Of course, to develop natural dyes is not the problem of pollution or disposal of toxic substances is solved, but if it helps create an important alternative to provide security to not pollute and simultaneously make use of the resources provided by the nature.
