Abstract:
Purpose Using cuticle of plants, we can make a natural brightener which can inhibit the fungus, good and excellent in waterproof and suppress the corrosion of the metal. Result Study 1: Gloss comparison of polish that made by cuticle. The radiance of reflected light from Cuticles of 0.06mL is 15.1lux, which is different from those of 0.04mL. The difference of the radiance reflected from those of 0.06mL and 0.04mL is 1.8lux. However, the radiance reflected from those of 0.06mL and 0.08mL is 0.01lux. Therefore, we confirmed that even Cuticles of 0.06mL of the area of 2.25 will have a nicer effect of polish. Study 2 :The antifungal effect of polish made by cuticle. After 3 days, the mold started to form on the orange that was not covered with cuticle. On the contrary, the orange with cuticle layer did not have any mold on it even after 6 days. Study 3: The waterproof effect of polish made by cuticle. Applying Cuticles 7th times is likely to reduce the spreading of ink. As result, the perfect effects of waterproof are expected to appear. Study 4: Corrosion suppressing effect of polish made by cuticle. Applying the cuticle completely prevents the corrosion of nail. Therefore cuticle is effective at preventing corrosion of metals as it is well-spread and absorbed by the metals. Conclusion Using the extracted cuticle, we can make a good natural brightener which can inhibit the fungus and which is excellent in waterproof and suppress the corrosion of the metal.
