Abstract:
I investigated the use of lyrical music to enhance test performance. In this experiment, 25 people took a four-section test with three minutes to complete each section. I found that lyrical music was more helpful while working or studying than instrumental music, white noise, or Vines (audio accompanied by video distractions). These results are important in helping people understand that the new generation learns and studies more efficiently with the aid of music.
