Abstract:
Biogas is the gas produced by the fermentation of organic matter in the absence of oxygen. It is a combustible gas composed mainly of methane and carbon dioxide. It can be burn in the place of production to obtain heat and electricity or purified to obtain biomethane usable as natural gas for vehicles or injectable on the natural gas distribution network. It is results from anaerobic methanisation on fermentable waste. It consists of 55% methane, 45% carbon dioxide and trace elements. Basically, our project is to improve the lives of poor people living off grid. References 1. "Landfill gas" 2.
