Abstract:
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of different forage resources on the interest of selected insect representatives belonging to the group of pollinators. Insects were analyzed for their activity of living and foraging on the investigated stands. Observations were carried out on five monoculture and one biodiversity beneficial. The limited role of monoculture stands as a food base in terms of the time of food availability and the inhibitory effect on the presence of some insect groups was demonstrated. On the basis of the study it was found that monoculture stands do not provide a long-term food base, and also their species composition is a factor that excludes the presence and possibility of obtaining food. Based on the results of the study, possible revitalization solutions are presented.
