(This project was implemented in the city of Duhok, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to solve the health problems caused by wastewater. It aims to treat the polluted water, recycle it, and make it reusable.)
Abstract In Duhok, polluted water released from homes and commercial buildings into the streets causes infectious diseases such as typhoid, cholera, dysentery, malaria, hepatitis A, giardia, Legionnaires' disease, and various parasitic infections. This contaminated and wastewater, which reduces the quality of life, has significant negative effects. The primary aim of this research is to eliminate the adverse impacts of this polluted wastewater and to treat and recycle wastewater back into the environment.
