Abstract:
In this project, the major aim is to identify the relationship that exists between the sound type and the level of stress in the dogs. In this project, there are three dogs. Each dog is exposed to a given sound type. There are various sound types in this project. Each sound type is exposed to a dog for a given period of time and at a given volume. Each sound type in this project contains classical music, pop/rock music, white noise, natural sound, and silence. The heart rate of each dog is measured as well as their behavior based on their level of stress. This is recorded based on a spreadsheet. Moreover, this is analyzed using Python, and the average heart rate as well as their behavior is identified based on the sound type. Furthermore, this is compared based on their level of stress, which is either low or high. Based on this project, it is clear that there is a relationship that exists in the sound environment and the level of stress in the dogs. This is important in enhancing their well-being as an animal.
